New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Clean and easy to access. Construction is still very much going on all around the tennis courts. At the moment the only restroom options are portapotties and only some of the drinking fountains work

Beautiful courts, with scenic river views, and garden details throughout the park. Plenty of tables with metal umbrellas to provide shade if youβre hanging out. I had no issue with the courts. They are pristine, and evenly surfaced, with maintained nets. You can see much has been put into the renovation of the park overall, but why open the tennis courts and other sport areas without finishing the bathrooms? The bathrooms are currently under construction, so if you like to change or use before you play, keep this in mind. I asked the (electrical) workers on site where I could find an additional bathroom, and they told me about 1/4 mile away. Since the plumbing still needs to be done, who knows when theyβll be complete (probably not in time for summer). There are porter potties, if you are desperate. I cannot speak to their conditions though.

Long wait for tennis courts if you come at peak hours

Beautiful court by the river! But we waited close to 3 hours for a court. Some people werenβt respecting the time limit so we had to step in.

Fresh and excellent tennis court complex. There are 6 in total, and I believe 3 are open at any given time, the other 3 tend to be locked up. Once construction is complete, they'll likely need a reservation, but enjoy them while you can! Breathtaking views of the bridge and Williamsburg, with plenty of wind to deal with lol
